Your notch, finally doing something.

Music, sound, files, clipboard, focus and your AI coding agents, one glance away at the top of your screen. Hover the notch and a panel melts out of it; move away and it slips back.

Volume

Now playing, from anything.

Apple Music, Spotify, Podcasts, YouTube in the browser: if it's playing, Damla shows it. Cover art, progress, play and skip, and a heart for your Apple Music favorites.

  • Colors from the cover. The whole panel takes the tint of the album you're hearing. Skip a track and watch it change.
  • Lyrics that scroll with the song. The panel stretches down and the words flow, Apple Music style.
  • Video in the notch. Playing something in Chrome, Brave, Edge or Vivaldi? One tap and it keeps playing under the notch, browser in the background or not.
  • Every player, and smart handoff. Switch between the apps that are playing in one tap. Start a video and your music pauses; stop it and the music comes back.

Your AI agents, at a glance.

Running Claude Code or Codex in the background? Damla shows every session: which project is working, which one needs you, and how long it has been waiting. When one asks for permission, the question drops out of the notch with the exact command.

  • Allow, Deny or Always allow for Claude Code and Codex CLI, without switching windows. Or ⌃⌥↩ and ⌃⌥⌫. Try it on the panel.
  • Answer its questions. When Claude Code asks you to pick between options, pick right in the notch.
  • Context and limits. How full each session is, and your five-hour and weekly use, with a heads-up at 80 % and 95 %.
  • A droplet that acts it out. It bounces while an agent works, waves when one needs you, smiles when it's done.
  • The hooks record status only: phase, tool name, timing. Your prompts, conversations and output are never read.

A shelf for your files.

Start dragging a file anywhere and the notch opens into a drop zone. Park files there, preview them with Space, drag them out into another app, or AirDrop them. New screenshots land on the shelf by themselves.

  • Convert and shrink. Save an image as PNG, JPEG or HEIC, compress it, or merge the PDFs on the shelf into one.
  • Try it here. Drop a file from your Mac onto this page. It stays in your browser.
  • Damla only remembers where your files are. It never moves or changes them.

An instant camera in the notch.

Mirror checks your hair before a call, then turns into a little instant camera: pick a film, count down 3-2-1, and a date-stamped print slides out of the notch and develops. It lands in Pictures › Damla.

  • Three films. Nostalgia, black and white, and natural. Center Stage keeps you in frame.
  • The camera runs only while this page is open. Here, the photo never leaves your browser.

Sound, your way.

Switch outputs in one tap, see your AirPods' battery for each bud and the case, and give every app its own volume.

  • Scroll on the notch to change the volume or skip a track, and see Damla's own volume and brightness indicators instead of the system ones.
  • Turn it down. A duck mode lowers everything at once, and your AirPods show their battery the moment they connect.
  • Per-app volume uses the System Audio Recording permission. Nothing is recorded or sent anywhere.

And the small things.

The quieter things Damla does, each laid on a sheet of ebru drawn live in your browser. Ebru masters name their patterns; the names are under each one.

  1. A tour inside the notch

The first launch walks you through Damla one feature at a time, right where it lives, and asks for each permission only when it comes up.

    Hatip
  2. Microphone in use?

During a call the notch shows it, and one tap mutes it for every app at once.

    Battal
  3. A focus timer you turn like a dial

Spin the ring, type a number or scroll to set any length; the countdown sits right in the notch.

    Bülbül yuvası
  4. Shortcuts

Anything you made in the Shortcuts app, pinned as a one-tap button.

    Taraklı
  5. Low battery warnings

For your mouse, keyboard, trackpad and AirPods, before they die mid-sentence.

    Neftli
  6. Local servers

Every dev server and database running on your Mac, one click to open or stop.

    Somaki
  7. Clipboard history

Search and pin what you copied. Off until you turn it on.

    Gelgit
  8. Swipe between pages

Two fingers on the trackpad and the page follows them; close it and the panel draws back into the notch.

Also: choose which pages the panel shows · a notch drawn into the menu bar on displays that don't have one · hides with the menu bar in full-screen apps · cleaning mode locks the keyboard for 60 seconds so you can wipe it · light on the processor, even with music and agents running · English and Turkish.

No account. No server. No tracking.

Everything stays on your Mac. Your shelf, clipboard history and timer live in ~/Library/Application Support/Damla/, and now-playing info is read locally from macOS.

Only two things ever touch the network: lyrics, if you turn them on (title, artist, album and duration go to lrclib.net), and the daily update check.
